Nine killed as godown catches fire in Ahmedabad; PM Narendra Modi pays condolences

Ahmedabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday (November 4, 2020) paid his condolences to the households of the individuals who misplaced their lives when a portion of a godown of chemical substances reportedly collapsed after a strong explosion resulting from hearth in Ahmedabad.

He added that equipment has been used to interrupt concrete slabs to extricate the trapped individuals.

“The chemical godown building caved in following an explosion. The rescue operation is still underway. We have initiated an inquiry into this incident,” knowledgeable Deputy Commissioner of Police Ashok Munia.
