Jammu: Issuing contemporary COVID-related tips, the Jammu and Kashmir administration on Sunday mentioned all academic establishments would stay closed until December 31 whereas no contemporary permission or passes are required for actions which have been already permitted within the union territory.

“No fresh permission or passes are required for activities which were already permitted under earlier orders. All instructions relating to safety, health precautions and social distancing continue to apply,” the order added. 

However, the order mentioned the teaching centres, establishments can be permitted to run courses, outdoors the containment zones solely, with as much as 50 per cent capability of the centres, strictly as per the SOP issued by the union ministry of schooling.

It mentioned 50 per cent of educating and non-teaching employees can be permitted to be referred to as to varsities for on-line educating or tele-counselling and associated work, in areas outdoors containment zones, whereas college students of Class 9 to 12 are permitted to go to their faculties in areas outdoors the containment zones solely, on a voluntary foundation, for taking steering from their academics.

“Skill or entrepreneurship training will be permitted in national skill training institutes, ITIs or other training centers registered with the national skill development mission or JK skill mission national institute for entrepreneurship and small business development, Indian institute of entrepreneurship and their training providers will also be permitted, as per the SOP already issued,” the order mentioned.

It acknowledged the upper schooling establishments can be permitted just for analysis students (PhD) and PG college students in science and technical streams requiring lab or experimental works.

“The swimming pools being used for training of sportspersons will be permitted, strictly as per the SOP issued by the central government,” it added.
