India on Monday (June 29) banned 59 Chinese cell apps together with TikTok, UC Browser and Cam Scanner amongst others. A press release from the federal government stated that the apps are ‘engaged in actions which is prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, the safety of the state and public order’.
